Code 67 can be found on the ZAPI controllers in this unit known as node 02 or node 05. The unit will flash a code 02 or 05 before the error code of 67 to indicate the location of the code.
Node 02 (example 02 67) will indicate the error code is on the main traction controller.
Node 05 (example 05 67) will indicate the error code is located on the secondary or pump controller.
Error Code AL67 on Node 02
Error 67 on node -2 indicates the CANBUS signal has been lost between the two controllers or the traction controller and the display.
CAN BUS KO – The controller is not receiving messages from the other controllers.
Although the CAN BUS codes are common, it is rare for the CAN circuit to fail. Check for good connections on the controller on pins 27 and 28. Look for the same color wires at the other controller and do a resistance test to verify no broken wires. Resistance should be either 60 ohms or 120 ohms on the CAN BUS circuit depending on where to are tapping into the circuit. Check the pins to be sure they are pushed into the connector all the way and that they are not stretched out and losing connection. The schematic above shows the CAN BUS wires on the left side. These codes typically go away after wiggling the connectors on the controllers.
Error Code AL67 on Node 05
WRONG ZERO
The outputs of the amplifiers (used to measure motor currents and voltage) are checked to be near zero. This fault is not related to external components. Replace the controller.
